Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris, trash, and unused materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under strict supervision.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, grading, and setting forms.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and crew members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Willingness to learn and take direction from crew leaders.
