Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Material Handling: Properly handle, store, and manage electrical materials and tools.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- License: Driver's license required; Journeyman or Apprentice license preferred but not mandatory for entry-level.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and reliability.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
