Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and staging areas.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks and projects.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary scaffolding.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport materials to different levels of the job site using hoists, cranes, or hand trucks.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and flexible shifts as required.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety protocols is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
