Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, painting, and drywall installation.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance duties.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Transport materials from storage areas to the work site using dollies or carts.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Valid state-issued ID or driver's license is preferred.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
