Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with daily operations and job tasks.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and tools to designated work areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites, including removing debris and ensuring a tidy workspace.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols strictly at all times.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the site supervisor.
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and rough-ins as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and PPE usage.
- Reliable transportation to and from various job sites throughout San Antonio.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
