Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment; ensure all work areas are clean and safe.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture installation under strict supervision.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we are looking for candidates willing to learn.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure are essential.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
