Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan wiring layouts.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.
- Estimate project costs and timelines accurately for client proposals.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license issued by the State of Maryland required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
