Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and blueprints.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and strict safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school certification is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain an Electrical Apprenticeship license and pursue Journeyman certification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong desire to learn, problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
