Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Texas (or equivalent out-of-state license with transferability).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
