Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate tools and methods.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical systems to prevent issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project progress and safety requirements.
- Educate customers on energy-efficient electrical solutions.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential or commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
