Responsibilities
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems.
- Install, modify, and repair wiring, conduits, and electrical components according to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and site cleanliness.
- Respond to emergency electrical calls and perform repairs during night outages with minimal downtime.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with day-shift supervisors to ensure a seamless transition of operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven experience working in night shift environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, circuits, and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
