Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including connecting outlets, switches, light fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and storage areas.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and local electrical codes at all times.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure are essential.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to obtain state licensing and certifications during employment.
- Strong desire to learn and a team-oriented mindset.
