Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Willingness to learn is the most important requirement.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating electrical loads, and estimating material costs.
- Physical stamina to work standing for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
