Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Connect wiring, cables, and conduits to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and power tools.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding job progress.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and measuring.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and apprenticeship.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
