Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and equipment failures efficiently.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and electrical concerns.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license required (Master license preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial/residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
