Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical boxes according to local and national codes.
- Perform basic electrical inspections and identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe work environment and tool belt.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Ensure all work is completed with a focus on safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain an Oklahoma Electrical Contractor License or Apprenticeship registration.
- Basic math skills and ability to measure distances accurately.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (extreme heat/cold) and at heights.
