Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) with proper training
- Transport materials to job sites using carts, dollies, or manual handling
- Complete daily task logs and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
