Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation under night shift conditions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards for all nighttime operations
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup activities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools efficiently during low-visibility conditions
- Perform material inventory management and secure job sites before shift end
- Maintain accurate work logs and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience or relevant vocational training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in low-light conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible night shift schedules
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- California driver's license preferred
