Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise implementation of project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper safety protocols and waste management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight night shift deadlines
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians) as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shift operations
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Strong attention to safety compliance and detail orientation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
