Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic measurements, cuts, and setups for framing and drywall.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and reading tape measures.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project needs.
