Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Equipment Handling: Safely handle and transport tools, materials, and equipment required for job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring a safe environment.
- Basic Wiring: Assist with running wire, installing outlets, switches, and fixtures under supervision.
- Adherence to Safety: Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and maintaining a clean appearance on-site.
- Documentation: Help complete daily logs, time sheets, and basic inspection checklists.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with zero experience who are eager to learn the trade.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortability with basic measurements and reading numbers.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites within the Columbus area.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
