Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical equipment under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles as required.
- Complete simple wiring tasks and assist with outlet and switch installations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school coursework is a plus but not required.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is helpful, but willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
