Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Prepare cost estimates for clients.
- Collaborate with construction teams to install electrical systems in new buildings.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Florida (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including outdoors and at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
