Responsibilities
- Excavate, load, and unload construction materials using hand tools and heavy equipment
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and basic tasks
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, cement mixers, and power saws under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for substance abuse
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
