Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and projects.
- Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure and compliant job site.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and fitting of materials as directed by supervisors.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and site etiquette.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team leaders.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
