Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks including pulling wire, stripping wire, and terminating connections.
- Mount and install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (but not mandatory for entry-level apprentices).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor (standing, lifting, climbing).
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses during the apprenticeship period.
