Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Provide hands-on support during installations, repairs, and maintenance projects in residential and commercial settings.
- Tool Management: Maintain, organize, and prepare tools and equipment to ensure efficient job site operations.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety standards after every shift.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and inventory electrical materials, parts, and supplies as needed.
- Basic Installation: Help with pulling wire, mounting outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under supervision.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and safety reports.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A high school diploma or GED is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong desire to learn.
- Team Player: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tool Familiarity: Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus but not mandatory.
