Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, and carrying heavy materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and welders) with various on-site duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to protocols.
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and blueprints.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
