Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, cleaning up debris, and removing trash.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, forklifts, skid steers).
- Assistance: Dig trenches, prepare foundations, and perform general labor as directed by the site supervisor.
- Documentation: Help with basic site documentation and inventory tracking as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full shift as needed.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
