Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from job sites.
- Operate power tools and construction equipment, such as jackhammers, saws, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with daily operations and project requirements.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Experience in general construction, landscaping, or previous labor work is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
