Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, laying out materials, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with basic tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assisting with assembly.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship by ensuring completed tasks meet project specifications.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Tool Management: Return tools to the proper storage area after use and perform basic maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
