Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan projects accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools, including multimeters, drills, and conduit benders, effectively and safely.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and obtain a Journeyman Electrician license within a specified timeframe.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for calculating wire lengths and material requirements.
