Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and identify necessary materials.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues to clients clearly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including job sites and personal tools.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Maryland (or ability to obtain reciprocity for PA work).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Skills: Proficiency with power tools, multimeters, and circuit testing equipment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred for commercial roles).
- Communication: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
